Franklin Steven King, age 73 years, a resident of Parsons, WV, departed this life early Tuesday morning, April 1, 2025 at Cortland Acres at Thomas, WV. He had been in declining health.
He was born Saturday, December 29, 1951 at Parsons, WV a son of the late James Robert and Lena Gertrude Pitzer King. He had never married.
He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Preceding him in death are two brothers, James Russell King and Robert Lee “Hopsing” King; and one sister, Kathryn Gertrude “Katie” King Mason.
He was a graduate of Parsons High School with the Class of 1974.
A Graveside Service will be conducted Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Parsons City Cemetery at Parsons, WV. Inurnment will follow.
