GRAFTON, WV – May 22, 2024 – Get ready for summer fun! Tygart Adventure Lake at Tygart Lake State Park officially opens for the season on Saturday, May 24, with exciting features for visitors of all ages. This family-friendly destination is back and better than ever.

Known for its unique floating playground, Tygart Adventure Lake features a variety of inflatable water toys, slides, trampolines, and climbing structures set right on the lake, offering hours of thrilling water fun. Families with young children can also enjoy the Splash Zone—a safe and interactive area with gentle fountains and playful water features designed specifically for little adventurers.

Both kids and adults will enjoy climbing on the giant inflatables that will launch them into the air before splashing down into the water. Friendly lifeguards are on hand to safely supervise the fun. Tygart Adventure Lake is also available as an event venue with very reasonable rates and accommodations for birthday parties. The beach and lake at Pipestem’s Adventure Lake can be all yours from 6 to 8 p.m. for one low price.
