Stand Up for Vets and the VA Protest Comes to Tucker County

Tucker County residents joined groups across the nation in protest of funding cuts to the Veteran’s Administration. The protest, held Friday, June 6th, was later joined by members of Tucker United. “We need to stand up for our people here,” protest member Crystal Moore said. “I felt it was important to stand up against the cuts and stand up for our Veterans and our services at the VA.” Moore also distributed postcards at the Davis Farmers and Artisan Market that evening that petitioned Senator Shelly Moore Capito to “stop the cuts.”
