Join TVCD for a Grazing Outreach Field Day at Sickler Farm on July 26

Philippi, WV: The Tygarts Valley Conservation District invites farmers, landowners, and ag professionals to attend its upcoming Grazing Outreach Field Day on Saturday, July 26th from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Sickler Farm, located at 1739 Chestnut Ridge Road, Moatsville, WV 26405.

This free event will focus on practical approaches to pasture management, rotational grazing, soil health, and other conservation-minded practices that benefit both the land and your livestock.

Attendees can expect expert demonstrations, real-world strategies, and plenty of time for Q&A and discussion. Featured speakers include experts from USDA-NRCS, WVU Extension, and the Tygarts Valley Conservation District, who will share helpful tools and insights that producers can take back to the field.

Registration is free, but TVCD asks participants to sign up in advance so a head count can be taken for refreshments.

Attendees will also have the chance to win useful door prizes, including: Vouchers for soil tests and forage tests, 36″ stainless steel soil probes, Hand-held seeders. The event will take place rain or shine, so bring your boots and be ready for an informative day outdoors.
