Held at St. John’s Church, Parsons from July 21 – 25, 6pm – 8pm. Come MAGNIFY the Lord with us and discover the BIGNESS OF GOD!
Free Friday
Free Friday will be held on July 25 at 6pm at the First United Methodist Church of Parsons. The theme will be “Christmas in July”. A traditional Christmas dinner will be served and everyone is welcome.
Youth and Kids Summer Fun Event
Held at St. John’s Church, Parsons on July 26th from 1pm – 3pm. Games, Food, Bouncy House, Ice Cream and lots of Fun!
The Strawderman Family Reunion
Saturday, July 26 at Mill Race Park in Parsons. Picnic lunch at 1pm.
Cake Walk
There will be a cake walk and silent auction 7pm on Saturday, July 26 at Courthouse Square. Sponsored by PRO-On-Trac. There is a rain contingency plan.
Reunion
The Pifer – Lipscomb Reunion will be held on Sunday, July 27 at Arnold Park in Leadmine. Lunch will begin at noon so bring a covered dish and enjoy the day.
Waybright Reunion
The reunion of the descendants of Don and Irabelle (Teter) Waybright will be Sunday, July 27 at the Community Building at Red Creek. Lunch will begin at 12:30pm. Please bring a covered dish to share. Tableware and drinks will be provided. All family and friends are welcome.
Reunion
The descendants of Daniel L. and Edna Shaffer Evans will hold their 44th reunion Saturday, Aug. 2, 2025 at Arnold Park, Leadmine WV. A covered dish lunch will be served at 1pm hosted by the Elwood Evans Family. Please bring a gift to be raffled
Friends of the Mountaintop Public Library
A non-profit organization that supports the library in Thomas, WV, is hosting a garden party on Saturday, August 2, in Canaan Valley. Tickets are $50 per person and proceeds will benefit the New Library Building Fund and support general operations. Ticket holders will enjoy hors d’oeuvres, desserts, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages. A large silent auction will feature artwork, books, vacation rentals, golf and other activity passes, gift certificates, and much more. Helmick Reunion
The 99th annual Helmick Reunion will be held Sunday, Aug.3 at the Sugarlands Church of the Brethren. Sunday School will begin at 10:30am followed by a basket lunch at 12:30pm. All family and friends are welcome to attend.
