The Wildcats Middle School Football Team rolled up their sleeves and grabbed some sponges for a good old-fashioned car wash and hot dog/bake sale fundraiser at Mill Race Park, and the community showed up in full force to support them.
The event, held on Friday evening, brought together students, parents, coaches, and volunteers for an evening of hard work, delicious food, and community spirit. Cars lined up for a sparkling wash, while visitors also enjoyed grilled hot dogs, homemade baked goods, and friendly conversation, all to benefit the young athletes.
“This was more than just a fundraiser,” said Coach Adam Freeman. “It was a great way for our team to bond and for the community to come together to support youth sports.”
Thanks to the generosity and enthusiasm of local residents, the team raised much-needed funds to help cover equipment, uniforms, and travel expenses for the upcoming season.
The Wildcats would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated, donated, and came out to show their support. Special appreciation also goes to the City of Parsons and the Parsons Park Board for allowing the use of Mill Race Park and supporting youth activities in the area.
With the season just around the corner, the Wildcats are already looking ahead, feeling encouraged by the community’s continued support.
