The Tucker County Animal Shelter held its annual Pet Show at the Tucker County Fair Thursday evening August 21st. Despite a sun cast rain shower, the show went on. The categories included Best Rescue, Cutest Puppy, Golden Oldie, Best Costume and Grand Champion. In total, four dogs and one cat competed in the show. In the category of Best Rescue, the only cat, a Turkish Van named Sir Galahad was the winner. A service dog named Magnolia took home Golden Oldie. Best Costume went to Maybelle.
