The Wildcats came out strong on the court this week as both the Junior Varsity and Varsity volleyball teams secured impressive victories over the Tygarts Valley Bulldogs.
The JV squad set the tone early, winning both sets in their match. The first set ended in a 25–20 victory, with Maci Owens leading the way at the service line. Owens delivered 9 serves, helping the Wildcats build early momentum.
In the second set, the Wildcats maintained their dominance, closing it out with a 25–17 win. Key serving came from Kaylea Shae Boyles, Mikinnley Williams, and Hannah Nestor, who each played a crucial role in securing the sweep.
The Varsity team followed suit, winning both of their sets against the Bulldogs. The first set ended 25–20, with Ally Wright stepping up as the primary server and making a strong impact at the net with several key blocks.
In the second set, the Wildcats pulled away with a commanding 25–14 victory. Serving duties were led by Mia Lambert and Ally Wright. Lambert also stood out offensively with several powerful spikes, keeping the Bulldogs on their heels throughout the match.
