The Davis-Thomas Bears golf team teed off high atop Fishers Mountain in Pendleton County this past week, competing against five other schools in a challenging match filled with scenic views and stiff competition.
Davis-Thomas finished in sixth place overall in the event. Petersburg took home the team victory, followed closely by Pendleton County, Romney, Capon Bridge, and Frankfort rounding out the standings.
Leading the Bears on the scorecard was Jarrett Dearborn, who posted a team-best round of 55. Briar Arbogast followed with a 62, August Boarman shot a 66, Hunter Lipscomb came in with a 67, and Bryson Mihalko rounded out the team’s efforts with a 72.
Davis-Thomas returns to action on Monday, September 22, at Cacapon State Park. The team will then wrap up its season back at Fishers Mountain on October 1.
