The Bears hosted Bruceton on Tuesday night, with the Junior Varsity team setting the tone early by taking a solid win over the visitors.

Varsity faced a more challenging start, dropping the first set after a sluggish opening. But the team quickly regrouped. They battled back to sweep the next two sets, securing a hard-fought match victory.

Looking ahead, the Bears hit the road for two key matchups next week. On Monday, they face Central Preston, followed by a Friday trip to East Preston. Both teams were previously defeated by DT at home, but road matches bring new challenges.

A previously postponed match against Moorefield has been rescheduled for October 13 at home. Also, fans should plan to come out on October 16, which will not only be a home game but also 8th Grade Night, a special evening honoring the team’s oldest players and their contributions.
