The Tucker Valley Middle School Wildcats volleyball team traveled to Philippi this week for a varsity-only matchup. Despite their best efforts, the Wildcats fell in two sets to a strong Philippi squad.
In the first set, the Wildcats struggled to find their rhythm, falling 7–25. Top contributors in the opening set were Marlee Evans and Laila George, who each provided key points for Tucker Valley.
The second set saw continued pressure from Philippi, with the Wildcats dropping the set 5–25. Hannah Nestor and Mya Adams led the scoring efforts in the second.
Wildcats will return to the court on October 16th at home against West Preston.
