The Centers Against Violence want to thank everyone who could come out for Domestic Violence Proclamation Signing with City of Parsons. The proclamation reads: Domestic Violence Awareness Month is observed nationally in October to raise awareness, support survivors, provide education to break the cycle of domestic violence and to honor lives lost to domestic violence. The effects of domestic violence extend beyond the immediate victims, impacting children, families, neighborhoods, and society at large; and County is committed to fostering safe communities where individuals and families can live free from violence, abuse, and fear
