Kenneth David “Kenny” Judy, age 78 years, a resident of Parsons, WV, departed this life Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at WVU Medicine Ruby Memorial Hospital at Morgantown, WV.

He was born Thursday, August 21, 1947, at Morgantown, WV, a son of the late David Thomas “Dave” Judy and Althea June Lawrence Judy.

Surviving are one daughter, Sherri Johanna Tharpe and husband William of Maurertown, VA; two brothers, Leland Judy and wife Jan of Gering, NE and The Rev. Anthony Judy and wife Charlotte of Elkins; one granddaughter, Ashley Black of Fairmont; two great grandsons, Rowan and Amari Black.

Preceding him in death is one daughter, Pamela Kay Judy.

He was a graduate of Elkins High School with the class of 1965. He attended Memphis Lumber Grading School in TN, WVU and WV Business College in Morgantown. He was a professional lumber grader, owning his own Dry Kiln at one time and was a former employee of Timberline. In his younger years, he loved playing sports, Kenny was an Eagle Scout, and an avid outdoorsman, who loved to hunt and fish. He enjoyed sharing the passion of hunting and fishing with many others from the local area and the DC area.

A private family service will be held. The Lohr & Barb Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements for Kenneth David “Kenny” Judy. Condolences may be expressed to the family at; www.lohrbarbfuneralhome.com.
