Tucker County Commission recently approved the National Hospice Month Proclamation presented by WV Caring Hospice Care, Outreach and Volunteer Coordinator Nancy Dotson. WV Caring Hospice Care provides care for patients in 12 counties in WV. Hospice services are provided by an amazing array of medical professionals and volunteers. As you are led to volunteer there are lots of opportunities providing a respite visit for pt caregivers, supporting our hospice center in Elkins picking up meals at the local hospital or spending time with patients in the center or other pt locations. Contact Nancy about such opportunities, 304-614-6223 or ndotson@wvcaring.org.
If you would like a presentation to your organization on WV Caring services or simply need additional information that can be provided as well.
