Charles Edward Corbitt, 77, of Dry Fork, WV passed away December 15, 2014 in Elkins, WV.

He was born August 3, 1937 in Summersville, WV a son of the late Edward Murray and Nancy Jane Workman Corbitt. He is survived by his wife, Grace Louise Mallow Corbitt, also surviving are two sons, Mike (Lisa) Corbitt, Hendricks, WV, and Jeff (Brenda) Corbitt, Dry Fork, WV, four daughters, Judy (Ralph) Forte, Port Charlotte, FL, Debra (Marvin) Rohrbaugh, Dry Fork, WV, Norma (Rick) Summerfield, Parsons, WV, Bonnie Corbitt and companion David Paugh , Thomas, WV, two brothers, Richard “Bill” Corbitt, Summersville, WV and Flavie Corbitt, Nettie, WV, two sisters, Mary and Ruth Corbitt, 13 grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons, Ronald and Donald Corbitt, and three brothers.

Mr. Corbitt worked for the Harman Department of Highways for 32 years. He loved hunting, fishing, garden and yard work.

Friends were received Wednesday, December 17, 2014 from 5-8 Pp.m. at Dry Fork Assembly of God Church. Funeral services were held 11 a.m., Thursday, December 18, 2014 at Dry Fork Assembly of God Church with Rev. Jerry Sebastian officiating. Interment followed in Roy Cemetery. Hinkle Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. www.hinklefuneralhome.com
