Buckwheat Dinner
There will be a Buckwheat Dinner at St. John’s Church, in Parsons, on Saturday, Feb. 14 from 4 – 6:30 p.m. $12 donation for adult meal and $6 for children 12 and younger. Carry out orders call 304-478-2620.
• Meal A – 5 buckwheat cakes, 2 cakes of sausage, 1-4 oz. gravy & 1 biscuit.
• Meal B – 4 biscuits, 2-4 oz. gravy & 2 cakes of sausage.
• Meal C – 4 pancakes, 2 cakes of sausage, 1-4 oz. gravy & 1biscuit.

Food Handler’s Class
Sanitarian James Snyder announced that the Tucker County Health Department will be conducting Food Handler’s Training Classes at the Senior Center in Parsons, on Wednesday, Feb. 18 at 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. Individuals attending the class will be issued a food handler’s permit which will be good for two years. A $10 registration fee will be collected upon admittance. The classes will start promptly, and late arrivals will not be admitted.

WV Hunter Education Class
A WV Hunter Education Class will be held at Mount Grove Community Center located at Mount Grove Community Center in Eglon. Students must be 10 years old to register for class and may bring a packed lunch to class. Students must attend both days.
Classes are on Sat, March 21 from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Sunday, March 22 from 1-5 p.m. You can register at register-ed.com.
