The Tucker Valley boys basketball team had a busy week full of big-time matchups. The Wildcats played host to Webster County to start the week. Tucker led early in the game but eventually fell in the final minutes, with a final score of 50–42. Titus Bowley led the attack with 21 points, Quinton Teter followed with 14 points, and Legend Harper added 6 points.

Tucker then traveled to Mill Creek to take on the Tygarts Valley Bulldogs. The Wildcats led from tipoff to the final horn, as the game was never close or in question. Tucker secured the win, 50–14. Teter led all scorers with 19 points, Bowley finished with 16 points, and Harper collected 7 points.

The Wildcats returned home to take on Harman Middle School two days later in what proved to be a very one-sided matchup, as Tucker blew out the Panthers 62–12. Teter again led the team in scoring with 15 points, while Bowley and Harper both added 10 points.

The Wildcats stayed home on Friday for their 8th-grade recognition night against the Central Preston Squires. Tucker won its third game in a row, and its third game of the week, defeating the Squires with ease, 41–19. Bowley and Teter were joined by Wade Boyles, with all three scoring 10 points each in the victory.

The Wildcats will travel to Westwood Middle on Tuesday, February 17, for a 5:45 p.m. tipoff.
