Tucker Valley softball played games on back-to-back nights against two of Preston County’s middle schools. They first played Bruceton Middle at home on the 8th, where Bruceton jumped out to an early 5-3 lead over the Wildcats after one inning.
Tucker failed to find home plate again as Bruceton pulled away, 18-3.
Tucker would then travel the next night to Tera Alta Middle School, where Tucker would find a different result. The Wildcats would score 16 runs to Tera Alta’s four, with Morgan Simmons finding home plate four times, Ary Neville three times, and Mia Lambert, Jacey Helmick, and Makenna Hackney each scoring twice.
The Wildcats will return to the ball field on Monday, April 13th, as they play host to the Tygarts Valley Bulldogs for a 6:00 p.m. first pitch.
