Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, and Great-Great-Grandmother.
Titi Killeen Ferguson (nèe Isabel Killeen), 93 years old, of Trappe, Maryland died April 27, 2026, after a brief illness. She was born in Brooklyn, New York April 3, 1933, to Wilbur Augustine Killeen and Isabel Richason Killeen (nèe Buckbee), and grew up in Red Bank, New Jersey. She graduated from Sacred Heart High School of Montreal and attended Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts for a short time. She successfully ran an Arabian and Anglo-Arab horse farm. She and her horses won numerous championships at the regional and national level in dressage, English, western, and native costume categories. In addition she ran a successful horse breeding operation which produced numerous national champions. She also was the publisher, and lead editor of the trade publication, The Arabian Horse Journal. She was an accomplished photographer, with much of her work appearing in several horse trade magazines and likewise led to her befriending and photographing celebrities in the horse industry such as Wayne Newton and the Beach Boys. Later in life she became active in showing Keeshonds, winning numerous championships.
One of her passions from an early age was watercolor art, however, demands of family, home, and career pushed that passion to the side. Prior to retirement she lived in the Baltimore area, St. Michaels, Maryland and then Mt. Airy, Maryland. Upon retirement, she and her beloved husband John, moved to Davis, West Virginia in Canaan Valley, where she rediscovered and perfected her passion for watercolor, becoming a signature member of the West Virginia Watercolor Society, winning numerous awards and cultivating an international following. Her love of nature drove her artistic inspiration with much of her work focusing on the natural beauty around her. In her own words she expressed “Most of our world is still a thing of wonder and beauty; I want you to see it and enjoy it as I do.” Together Titi and John founded the WVHighlands Artisan Gallery in Davis, West Virginia. They spent 35 years post-retirement in West Virginia before moving to Trappe, Maryland in 2025. She loved spending time with her family and went on numerous family vacations to Mexico.
Titi was predeceased by her beloved husband of 67 years, John Henry Ferguson 4th. They met in 1957 on a blind date at a Princeton Football game and soon after they knew they were destined to be married. They married 363 days after they met.
Titi is survived by her 3 children: son, David William Ferguson, Sr and his wife, Cindy; daughter, Jo Ferguson Bramble and her husband, Mike; and son, John Henry Ferguson 5th and his husband Neal. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
She was active in St. Thomas Acquinas Catholic Church in Thomas, West Virginia, where she was a eucharistic minister. Upon her move to Trappe, MD in 2025 she joined Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Easton, Maryland. Additionally, she was an active member of the Blackwater Chapter of the DAR (Daughters Of The American Revolution).
A visitation was held on Sunday May 3, 2026 from 2 PM to 4 PM, at Fellows, Helfenbein, and Newnam Funeral Home in Easton, MD. A funeral mass was held, May 4, 2026 at 11 AM, at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Easton, MD.
