North Central WV Community Action, Tucker County Office had their 2026 Open House Event on Wednesday May 20th, 2026. There was a great turnout for the event, and they gave out information on all their programs and services and served delicious refreshments, door prizes, and gave out Garden Program Vouchers.

Eastern Action was proud to be a part of North Central’s Open House where we could demonstrate our HOP (House of Pressure) and HAM (Heat, Air, Moisture) displays. These displays demonstrate how weatherization works to increase the energy efficiency of homes, while ensuring health and safety. Eastern Action also represented their HVRP (Homeless Veterans’ Reintegration Program) which is a federally funded employment program designed to help homeless veterans and those at risk of homelessness reintegrate into the workforce.
