Sandra Kay Ball Coberly, age 69 years, a resident of Beverly, WV departed this life Tuesday morning, May 19, 2026, at the University Hospital Geauga Medical Center at Chardon, OH.

She was born Sunday, November 25, 1956, at Parsons, WV a daughter of the late W. Gay Ball and Pearl L. Strawderman Ball. On March 3, 1993, at Beverly, WV she was married to Gary Lynn Coberly, who preceded her in death September 22, 2008. Surviving is one daughter, Lori Ann Cale and husband Roger of Parsons; two grandchildren, Bailey Cale and Dylan Cale; two sisters, Virginia “Vergie” Rosier of St. George, and Margaret A. Williams of Pifer Mountain; her companion, Robert Thompson of Beverly; several nieces, nephews and friends.

Preceding her in death are one brother, Bobby G. Ball; and three sisters, Delores F. Morral, Mary O. Kisamore, and Betty J. Godwin.

Sandra attended St. George Elementary School and was a graduate of Parsons High School with the Class of 1975. She had worked as a Cook at Blackwater Falls State Park and was a member of the Orlena United Methodist Church, where her and her sister enjoyed singing together.

Sandra enjoyed word search puzzles, working puzzles, watching Gunsmoke and game shows. She loved interacting with her friends, had a very close relationship with her family and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the Lohr & Barb Funeral Home of Elkins from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Tuesday, May 26, 2026. Final Rites will be conducted at the funeral home, Tuesday, at 1:00 PM. The Reverend Jerry L. Helmick will officiate, and interment will follow at the Mount Vernon Cemetery at Beverly, WV. The Lohr & Barb Funeral Home is honored to be in charge of the arrangements for Sandra Kay Ball Coberly. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.lohrbarbfuneralhome.com.
