Trixie, a hound at the Tucker County Animal Shelter enjoyed a day out Wednesday, May 20th. The staff said in a Facebook post, “In true hound fashion, her nose didn’t leave the ground. She was so happy to have a new change of scenery for a few. Help us make this her reality!!” Trixie has been a resident of the Shelter for 266 days. “226 days of seeing the same old, same old and waiting for that to change,” the post said. Trixie is on a daily seizure medication, but takes it remarkably well and has never given any issues, the staff reports. The staff said they are happy to discuss medications further with an interested family. For more information on Trixie or any of the other needy animals at the Tucker County Animal Shelter, check out their webpage at tuckercountyanimalshelter.com, check out their Facbook and Instagram pages at tcasanimalshelter, stop by at 586 Brooklyn Heights Road, Parsons, call (304) 478-6232 or email tcasdirector@tuckercountycommission.com.
