Community Fellowship Meal,

Wednesday, June 3rd, 6 p.m. at St. Paul’s Fellowship Hall.

Food Handler’s Training Classes

Sanitarian James Snyder announced that the Tucker County Health Department will be conducting Food Handler’s Training Classes at the Senior Center in Thomas on Wednesday, June 3rd, 2026, at 9:00 AM and 7:00 PM. Those people attending the class will be issued a food handler’s permit which will be good for two years. A $10.00 registration fee will be collected upon admittance. The classes will start promptly, and late arrivals will not be admitted.

100th Anniversary Celebration

St. John’s Church invites you to our 100th Anniversary of the rebuilding of St. John’s brick structure where we worship God on Sunday mornings in spirit and in truth on Sunday, June 7 beginning at 10 a.m. worship, with singing at noon and lunch at 1 p.m. All are welcome to come celebrate this momentous celebration of God’s faithfulness to His church!

Full Board Meeting

The Region VI Workforce Development Full Board will meet Thursday, June 11, 2026, at 10:30 am at the Marion County Convention & Visitors Bureau located in Fairmont, WV. FREE Movie Monday

Five Rivers Public Library Movie Monday: Green and Gold, June 11, Showings: 1:30 and 5:30 p.m. Free community event. Snacks provided. Father Grassi Silver Jubilee Celebration

Father Timothy Grassi, former Pastor of the Catholic community in Tucker County, will be returning on Sunday, June 14 to celebrate his Silver Jubilee as a priest. The parishioners from St. Thomas Aquinas in Thomas and Our Lady of Mercy in Parsons, along with all in the community are warmly invited to attend the Solemn High Mass of Thanksgiving at 11 a.m. in Thomas to extend their well wishes to Father Grassi. All of the community are encouraged to come and extend their greetings, well-wishes, and congratulations to Father Grassi until 2:30 p.m.
