Three Tucker County football players had the opportunity to lace up their cleats and represent their school one final time under the Friday night lights as seniors Reid Kisamore, Josh Crossland and Keelyn Eichelberger took part in the 31st annual Battle Against Cystic Fibrosis (BACF) Football Classic at Bill Hanlin Stadium on June 12, 2026.
The trio joined some of the top senior football players from across the Mountain State in a game that not only showcased athletic talent but also raised money and awareness for those battling cystic fibrosis.
West Virginia delivered a dominant defensive performance Friday night, snapping a two-game losing streak to Ohio with a convincing 26-7 victory in the annual all-star contest. The Mountaineers controlled the game from start to finish, limiting Ohio’s offensive opportunities and setting the tone with a physical defensive effort.
Tucker County’s Reid Kisamore provided one of the night’s biggest highlights, finding the end zone twice to help lead West Virginia to victory. Crossland and Eichelberger also represented Tucker County with pride, contributing to the West Virginia squad in their final game before moving on to their next chapters of their lives.
Beyond the action on the field, the evening marked a significant milestone for the Battle Against Cystic Fibrosis Football Classic. Organizers announced that the 31st annual game raised the most money in the event’s history for cystic fibrosis research and support efforts, making the victory even more meaningful for everyone involved.
For Kisamore, Crossland and Eichelberger, the night served as a fitting conclusion to their high school football careers.
