Iona “Bobbie” McWilliams, 90 years old, born February 25, 1936, in Parsons, WV (Bretz) passed from this life on May 10, 2026 at her home in Lampasas, Texas.
She was married to Donald McWilliams, Sr and are now together with the Lord. She is the daughter of Harry Pennington, Sr and Alma Kelley Pennington, surviving Sisters are Patricia McClure, husband John, Dian Shifflet, husband Doug, Deceased siblings are Douglas Pennington, Harry, Jr. “Sut” Pennington, Delbert Pennington, Larry Pennington, Emma (infant), Sharon Lambert, Teresa “Mickey” Pennington.
Children are Susan Rich and husband the late Dr. James Rich, Sara Sims, Donald Jr. and wife Tina, the late Brenda Miller and husband Gary, Jimmy and wife Tammy.
Her Grandchildren are Brent Rich, Breanna Rich, Shay Rich, Claire Smith (passed 1978), Valarie Wenzel, Megan Langley, Derek McWilliams, Corey McWilliams, Elizabeth Irvine, Emily Solt, Victoria Camardi and Bryan Bittorf, Mallory and Brendon McWilliams.
Her Great Grandchildren are Blake and Wyatt Rich, Kylee Rich, Olive and Indie Rich, Zachary and Matthew Lopez, Hannah Smith, Isaac Agee, Eli and Graham McWilliams, Miles, Olivia and Penolope Irvine, Rylee Miller, Lillian Solt, Blair, Hayden, Laniey Langley.
She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Parsons, WV, and a devoted member of the Christadelphian Church in Lampasas, TX.
A private ceremony will be held on August 11, 2026, where she will be laid to rest with her Husband, Don, in the Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA.
