For the 2015 ski season, Timberline Ski Resort moved its NASTAR (National Standard Race) Program to Lower Dew Drop ski trail, a new venue allowing the course to have up to 19 gates.

NASTAR-1This race program is offered five days a week including weekends. It is a recreational race format opened to everyone including Alpine skiers, Telemark skiers, Snowboarders, Adaptive skiers and Children to improve their racing skills. Racers race against a pace setter for platinum, gold, silver or bronze Timberline NASTAR medals. Racers time is set according to ages and gender. The Timberline Ski Team and racing clubs participate and take advantage of this program. “The Program provides tips and advice on how to race faster” said Tim Worden, Timberlines Race Director. This racing program also gives the opportunity for our local businesses to advertise their business by displaying a banner at the foot of Lower Dew Drop with visibility from the Triple chair. For more information call: Timberline Ski School at 304-866-6333.
