The following criminal complaints have been filed in the Tucker County Magistrate office:
Cody Dean Foster, was charged with one felony count of Grand Larceny and one felony count of Escape. According to the complaint, in October 2025, the Tucker County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) charged the defendant in Tucker County related to a destruction of property investigation. The defendant, Cody D. Foster, was already on electronic monitoring with Brian Thompson, Elkins WV Parole. The defendant reported to the Elkins Parole Office and was further advised of the situation according to documentation provided by Brian Thompson. On Oct. 15, 2025, the defendant allowed his bracelet to die and was contacted by Elkins Parole via text on Oct. 20, 2025. The defendant was advised to charge his bracelet immediately. The text was read but the bracelet never became active again. On Oct. 20, 2025 a home visit was conducted by Elkins Parole at which time, the defendant was not located. Other residents of the home advised that the defendant had not been there. The defendant was supposed to report to Elkins Parole on Oct. 21, 2025 but never did so. The bracelet/receiver was never located. The total value of the equipment signed for by the defendant is $2,100. The defendant signed documents stating that he would be responsible for damages or replacement of the equipment which has not been located at this time. The defendant is currently in the custody of another state on additional charges. The last known location of the defendant’s issued equipment is Tucker County. The approved residence of the defendant was Thomas.
Dominic Rayven William Jensen, of Parsons, was charged with one count of Petit Larceny. The complaint states that on Tuesday, July 21, 2026 Cpl. C.R. Summerfield and Sheriff J.E. Kopec of the Tucker County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) received a theft complaint. The victim called the TCSO and spoke with Sheriff Kopec about some property that was stolen from her residence. On the same date Cpl. Summerfield and Sheriff Kopec responded to Mount Zion Road area of Parsons and met with the victim.
Summerfield obtained a hand written and signed statement from her that summarized that she allowed her grandson Dominic Jensen and his girlfriend to stay at her house. Two weeks ago, they were throwing food all over and making a mess so she told them to leave. She stated that on July 20 she noticed some things missing. She also noticed her gun safe had been broken/damaged. She stated that a 30-30 lever action rifle was missing from the safe. She further stated that Jensen borrowed her 30-06 lever action rifle a while back and she told him to leave it at her house when he was leaving but when he left. he took it with him. She also noticed several rounds of ammunition missing along with an old bible from Germany. When They left her house two weeks ago, they were picked up by the girlfriend’s sister and her father. The victim stated they were staying at the father’s cabin that is owned by his father. She provided a description of the cabin along with its location. She stated she believes her property is at the cabin.
On July 22 Cpl. Summerfield, Detective C.A. Teter of the TCSO patrolled the area of the cabin and after further investigation an address of the cabin could not be obtained.
On July 24 Summerfield, Teter Chief Deputy M.J. Sigley and Sgt B.T. Zirk of the TCSO executed a search warrant at the cabin described. Upon executing said search warrant, deputies located a Remmington 30-06 Game Master 760 rifle, 30-30 ammunition, 30-06 ammunition and miscellaneous tools. Jensen, the girlfriend and her father were at the residence and Jensen stated to deputies that his grandmother allowed him to borrow the 30-06 rifle.
