Dear Editor,

I have subscribed to The Parsons Advocate for many years as a resident of VA. When we moved to WV in 2011, I continued my subscription. I find the paper has changed. I enjoy news of Tucker County, not Garrett County which seems to be in the paper each week.

When I read the paper last week, I was surprised to find nothing about Emma Grace Snyder, the queen of the Mountain State Forest Festival. I decided to wait for the paper this week. Nothing in the paper about the Forest Festival this week. What an honor to be selected as the queen from a small town in Tucker County! To me that is big news. I am seriously thinking about dropping my subscription. Another complaint is a picture of several people and not one identified. That makes no sense to me. It makes the article more interesting if the people are identified.

Thanks for listening.

Kay F. Flanagan
