Regional Math Field day winners

Regional Math Field day was held on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Philip Barbour HS from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Tucker County had 13 students attend from grades four – eight.

Students competed in Math activities against other counties in our RESA, Mongahalia, Lewis, Upsher, Gilmer, Taylor, Randolph, Dodridge, Marion, Preston, Harrison, Taylor, and Barbour. There were approximately 35 students for each grade level four-12.

Tucker County students attending were; Fourth grade- Tory Paul, Paige Shaffer, Andrew Bonner. Fifth grade- Wayne Clark, Amara Snider. Sixth grade- Emma Wamsley, Averie Bunnell. seventh grade- Xzandra Ashby, Mary Beth Carr, Ian Dotson. Eighth grade – Zane Myers, Cameron Wamsley, Chris Chambers.

Andrew Bonner placed sixth overall in fouth grade. Chris Chambers placed 14th overall in eighth grade. Cameron Wamsley won the estimation jar for the eighth grade.
