Rev. Charles A. Pollock, 81, of Davis, WV went home to be with the Lord on August 4, 2015. He was born March 6, 1934 in Charleston, WV, son of the late Charles E. and Garnett (Lilly) Pollock. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Grace Dillon Pollock, on Nov. 19, 2010. He is survived by his brother, David G. Pollock of Mullens, WV, and his five children; Sarah (Scott) Bowley of Parsons, WV, Leah (Doug) Holley of Chesterfield, VA, Rebecca (Kevin) Schmidt of Franklin, TN, Ruth (Mike) Hartman of Spring Hill, TN, Jon (Bonnie) Pollock of Fairmont, WV and son-in-law Andrew M. Dearborn of Spring Hill, TN. Also surviving are eleven grandchildren; Joshua (Mellisa), Isaac & Scottie Bowley, Lindsay (Troy) Taylor and Katie Holley, Andrew, Allie & Ben Schmidt, Darrah (Blake) Whitaker & Matthew Dearborn and Tacy Pollock. He had four great-grandsons; Luke, Titus, Eli Bowley and Jackson Taylor.
We celebrated his life on Friday, August 7 at Hinkle Funeral Home in Davis, WV. Visitation was from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., the funeral hour. His service was led by his beloved brother, David G. Pollock and close friend, Jerry Martin. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Community Bible Church, Davis, WV 26260.
