The Wildcats will enter into the 2015 Football season with just 4-5 players returning from last year’s team. Second year Head Coach Josh Evans is excited about this year’s team saying, “We are looking good, we have 20 players out, we will be a very new and young team.” Evans thinks his team has some potential especially at the skill positions, “We may have more skill position players this year than last year,” says Evans.

The schedule for Tucker Valley will be the same as last year. The Wildcats will open their season on September 2nd at Moorefield. Tucker Valley’s other scheduled games look like this: Home contests against East Hardy, Belington, Philippi and Tygarts Valley, along with road contests against Pendleton County, Elkins and Petersburg. All games will kickoff at 7pm.

Some of the names that Coach Evans hopes to make an impact this year is as follows: Liam Hood, Will White, Hunter Collar, Bode Shockley, Kelvin Akerley, Rain McCauley and Rudy Pennington to name a few. This year’s team has some big holes to fill in the experience column, but the tradition at Tucker Valley is winning and this group hopes to keep that winning tradition going. Come out and support this team. For more info about Tucker Valley Football and schedules visit TuckerCountySports.Com.
