TUCKER COUNTY CROSS COUNTRY TEAMS COMPETE IN PVC MEET

Tucker County’s Madison Reall finished 8th in the PVC Championship on 10/13/15

SHORT GAP – The Tucker County Girls’ and Boys’ Cross Country teams competed in the PVC Championship at Frankfort High School on October 13th.

The Girls team competed in a race that featured 4 teams and 42 runners. Madison Reall was the top finisher for the Lady Mt. Lions with a 8th place finish and a time of 23:51. Natalie Evans placed 15th with a 25:40, Mikala Betler 30th with a 28:57, Jenna White 32nd with a 29:26 and Bella Zais was 38th with a 31:44. Tucker County placed 3rd as a team behind Frankfort and Berkeley Springs. Keyser placed 4th.

In the Boys’ race there was 5 teams and 47 runners competing. Joesph Lewandowski was the top finisher for Tucker County with a 13th place finish and a time of 19:48. Times for the remaining Mt. Lions are as follows; 24th, John Anderson 21:06, 25th Jonathan Rhodes 21:06.50, 28th Jack Melnik 21:24, 32nd Josh Kincaid 22:14, 36th Ryan Hart 22:39, 37th Noah Nelson 23:00, 41st Chris Chambers and 47th Nathaniel Radar 26:51. Berkeley Springs took home 1st place followed by Keyser, Frankfort, Paw Paw and Tucker County.

The Girls’ and Boys’ teams will compete in the Regional Meet tomorrow October 22nd at Grafton at 4pm. For more info go to TuckerCountySports.Com.
