TRAVEL COMMITTEE NEWS
The travel committee is still taking names for a trip to Lancaster, PA next July to see the new production, “Samson” at the Sight & Sound Theater. They are also taking names for baseball game next year to see the Pittsburgh Pirates play. If you are interested in either or both of these trips, please call the Senior Center at 304-478-2423 and reserve your place on the list. Please remember to give your phone number and the number in your party.
If you have not sent in your second payment for the Alaska trip, please do so immediately. Please remember to include your payment stub.
THANKSGIVING CELEBRATION
The Parsons Center will hold their Thanksgiving Celebration on Thursday, November 19, 2015. The program will begin at 10:30 a.m. with music by the Goldenaires Choir. There will be several special songs and readings. This will also be the November birthday celebration. Please come and join us as we remember all the blessings for which we are thankful.
PAPER PRODUCTS BINGO
Weather permitting, the paper products bingo events will be held at the Mt. Top Center on Thursday, November 19th and at the Parsons Center on Friday, November 20th. Both events will be held following lunch.
VETERAN’S REPRESENTATIVE VISITS
Because of the upcoming holidays please note the day and time of the visit from the West Virginia Veteran’s representative. He will be meeting people in the downstairs of the Parsons Center on Wednesday November 25. He will be available to meet with any veteran that has concerns starting at 10 a.m.
