Lady Wildcats Middle School Basketball Update

The Tucker Valley Girls’ Basketball JV and Varsity teams traveled to play in the Robert L. Bland Middle School Tournament. The JV team began tournament play on Monday December 28th against Washington Irving. The Lady Wildcats JV team fell in the contest 24-5. Elania Smallwood led Tucker Valley with 4 points. The JV team then played Suncrest Middle on Wednesday December 30th. Tucker Valley got the win 19-18 to place 3rd in the tournament. Addie Buckley led Tucker Valley with 6 points and Buckley also made the All-Tournament team.

The Lady Wildcats Varsity team started Tournament play on Monday December 28th against Suncrest Middle and picked up the win 43-38. Terra Kuhn led Tucker Valley with 19 points in the win. On Wednesday December 30th took to the floor against Washington Irving and fell in the contest 44-38 to place second. Katie Surguy led the Lady Wildcats with 16 points and Terra Kuhn added 9 points. Surguy and Kuhn made the All-Tournament team.

Tucker Valley will host Moorefield on Monday January 11th and then travel to Buckhannon on Wednesday January 13th.
