DAVIS – Folks have been talking about a winning lottery ticket where it is rumored that some lucky individual won $30,000. Is it true? Did this really happen?
Calls to the BFS in Davis on Friday led to contacts to the West Virginia Corporate Offices for BFS Foods in Morgantown where officials in the public relations department verified Friday that a winning ticket for the Money Multiplier scratch off game was sold in Davis. The winner will receive the top prize of $30,000.
Officials said ‘the winner of that $30,000 prize had not yet been identified to BFS Foods, so it is not known if the money will be captured by a Tucker County resident, or if the winner was just passing through the area. They said there was another large lottery winner a few months ago in the BFS Foods, located in Mt. Morris, Pa.’
The West Virginia Lottery Facebook page also has an entry that verifies the sale of the winning lottery ticket in Davis.
Any additional information will be shared as it becomes available.
