The St. George Seniors met on Thursday, July 18, 2024 at 6 pm at the St. George Community Church.  Leader Sharon Daniels welcomed everyone, led the pledge of allegiance, and the blessing.  After a great covered dish supper, Cindy Harsh and Marcy Evick of the Tucker County Extension Service introduced three teen leaders.  Bayle Lewis, Alaina Owens, and Ava Wilfong shared their favorite things to do in 4-H including what projects they were completing and answered many questions.  Sharon Daniels wrapped up the program with a few readings and funny stories.

Raymond Collins and Virginia Popio won door prizes. Attending in addition to the above were April Fitzwater, Sherri Smith, Pete Kuhn, Dale Varner, Don Nestor, Carol Weinstein, Linda Bonner, Delores Kelley, Sharon Cassidy, Doloris Propst, Mabel Fitzwater, James Poling, Buddy Arnold, Janice Poling, David Varner, Anna Fitzwater, Sylvia Rosenau, Claudette Judy, Carmen Welsh, Brenda Jones, Betty Sturm, Shirly Cassidy, Priscilla Flanagan, and Eleanor Nestor.

The next meeting is Thursday, August 15 at 6:00 pm.  Come, bring a covered dish, and enjoy good food and fellowship and play some bingo for prizes.  The Parsons Senior Center provides door prizes and a van for transportation.  For any questions concerning the services of the Senior Center, please call 304-478-2423.
