Parsons Senior Center Outpost was held on February 4, 2025. Arlene Ramsey welcomed everyone and led the group in reciting the Lord’s Prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance. Becky Poling led singing of “God Bless America” and singing of “Happy Birthday” to Debbie Simmons.
Eleanor Nestor announced readings would be from author Cleta Long’s poems. Kenny Knotts read “Nibblings For a Suitor” and Debbie Simmons read “The Blessings of Friends”.
Kim Ledden from the Tucker County Health Department gave advice and information on blood pressure and Carol Precht provided blood pressure readings for the seniors. Becky Poling, physical therapist from St. George Medical Clinic, talked about the benefits of exercise and lead the group in examples of ability appropriate exercises.
