TRAVEL NEWS

We will be collecting for the September 10, 2017 to September 15, 2017 trip to Myrtle Beach on Thursday, July 6th.  The cost of this trip is $ 700.00 per person based on double occupancy. There ARE still some spaces available so if you are interested, please give us a call.  If you have any questions, feel free to call the Parsons Center at 304-478-2423. Because we have seats available and we have offered this trip to our seniors first, we can now take names of any adults that are not seniors but would still like to go.

We realize that it is early but plans have been made for a return Christmas trip to the Galt House in Louisville, KY. We will be going November 27 – 30. We have included the luncheon cruise on the Spirit of Jefferson, Churchill Downs, the Mega Caverns and several other attractions. The price is $700. We will begin collecting Thursday, July 6th. The payments will be $ 140 per person. If you are interested, please call and get your name and phone number on the list. The list is starting to fill up so call quickly.  As always, we will call the people in the order of the list.

We are planning a short one day trip to Elkins on Friday evening July 14, 2017. We have reserved tickets to the Franks “The Greatest Show on Rails” show. The price will be $22 per person if you have your own transportation and $27 if you ride the van. We will be collecting for this trip on FRIDAY, July 7th. If you are interested in going, please call the Parsons Center at 304-478-2423 as soon as possible and leave your name and phone number so we can make sure we have a van driver. We will call you later with more details.

We are currently making plans for a 2 day/1 night trip to Wheeling, WV. The price will be  $170 per person based on double occupancy. The dates are August 9th and 10th. The trip will include visits to the West Virginia Penitentiary, The Mound, The Palace of Gold, Cabela’s and the Wheeling Island Casino. At the Casino there will be a polka band and live dog races as well as the slots etc. We will be collecting for this trip on FRIDAY, July 7th.
