Today is the first day of Autumn. Here is a poem titles “IN THE FALL” by Helen Tanner
In the Fall, God paints a picture so beautiful, it’s hard for an artist to capture.
Tractors and combines in the fields, farmers praying for good yields.
The ladies gathering in last of the garden so the winter won’t be so hard on them.
The leaves of gold, yellow, and red and all kinds of nuts to keep the squirrels fed.
Lovely sunsets and pumpkins to carve, feed the birds so they don’t starve.
Spend time with family raking leaves, bonfires, hot dogs, and marshmallows, please.
Harvest parties with neighbors to share, God gives us such wonderful blessings, I declare!
