The Senior Center is trying to get an AARP Driver Safety Class scheduled at the Parsons Center. The problem is that there are no instructors in the area. If you are interested in being an instructor, you will need to complete an online training session for teaching the class and an in person training which may be given online if needed to complete to process. Anyone interested should contact Terry Stone, tstone8278@suddenlink.net regarding their request. Instructors are reimbursed a flat fee for classes (for expenses) and if they go outside their area and it is higher than the flat fee they will be reimbursed for mileage and a meal.
We at the Center would like to see more older adults visit in our Centers. We are asking for suggestions of activities we could include in our programs for you and your family. If you would like to have a dance class, chair exercises, tai chi class, more crafts (be specific), more speakers, or whatever you would be willing to attend, please call or write to Linda J Bonner at 304-478-2423 or Tucker County Senior Citizens 217 Senior Lane Parsons, WV 26287. Thank you in advance for your suggestions.
