On Thursday, July 29th the Parsons Senior Center held their own summer games that represented several of the real Olympic games. Events included the discus(frisbee), hammer throw (paper bags filled with newspapers), javelin (pool noodles), golf (tabletop golf), and Ka-Pong (like ping pong). There was also corn hole and ring toss. Some of the activities were outside while the others were inside. Once they got started the seniors had a great time playing the games. Some of them even continued after lunch.
