TRAVEL NEWS

We still have a couple of tickets for the Pittsburgh Pirates game on Thursday, July 25^th. The price is $150 per person. This includes transportation, game ticket, and shuttle boat ticket to ride to the stadium from Station Square.

There is still room on the trip to the Cumberland, MD area on August 12^th. The price for this 1-day trip is $150. We will be collecting May 30^th for this trip.

The trip to Atlantic City, NJ will be August 25^th to 27^th. The price is $350 per person based on double occupancy. At this time we have 7 or 8 seats available. Please call as soon as possible if interested. The first payment was due Friday, May 10^th.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the amount of cancellations we have been receiving after the price of our trips have been announced and after consulting with several other Senior Centers about their policies, the committee has decided to implement the following effective with any trips announced after July 1, 2019:

1. We will announce the trips inThe Parsons Advocate and the Senior Center newsletter.
2. When you call, you need to give the names and phone numbers of the people wanting to go on the trip.
3. Your place on the trip will not be reserved until you have sent in a $75 deposit. This deposit will only be refunded if you find someone to take your place on the trip.
4. This policy may change slightly if the trip involves a cruise or airline because of their policies.

PARSON MEMORIAL DAY CELEBRATION

The Parsons Center will be having a Memorial Day program on Thursday, May 23^rd beginning at 10:30 a.m. The Goldenaires will begin the program followed by appropriate readings. We hope you will come to help us remember those who have fought for the freedoms we cherish.

HOLIDAY CLOSING

Both of the Tucker County Senior Centers will be closed on Monday, May 27^th in observance of Memorial Day. We will reopen on Tuesday at our regular times.
