BUCKWHEAT FESTIVAL TRIP

We are taking names for a trip to the Buckwheat Festival in Kingwood on Friday, September 28th. The places on the van will be filled in the order of the calls received. The price for the van ride is $5. You are responsible for your meals. We will leave Parsons around 10 a.m. and return at approximately 4 p.m. If interested, please call 304-478-2423 to get on the list. Please make your payments before Monday, September 24th so we are sure how many are going.

MT. TOP OUTPOST

The Mt. Top Center will have their monthly Outpost on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at 10:45 a.m.  This is National Senior Center Month so please bring a friend and your favorite covered dish and join us for fun and fellowship before the snow flies.

DAVIS MEDICAL PRESENTATION

The Davis Medical Center will be providing a speaker at the Parsons Center on Friday, September 14th at 11:00 a.m. The topic for the day will be “Nutrition.” Please plan to join us at 11 for the speaker and stay for lunch at 11:30.

SPECIAL PROGRAM ABOUT HONEY BEES

September is National Honey week. We have invited Mr. Paul Poling to come to the Parsons Center on Wednesday, September 19th at 10:45 a.m. to talk to us about bee keeping and various facts about honey. Please join us for this interesting talk and get to taste several different kinds of honey. Lunch will follow at approximately 11:30 a.m.
