July 27 – 29 Lancaster/Samson Trip

Due to not having enough participants to make the July 27 – 29 trip to Lancaster/Samson feasible, and the deadline for reservations having expired, we have cancelled the trip. Those on the list for the trip will have first choice for any available seats on the July 11 – 13 trip in the order that the names were placed on the list.

Travel Committee Trip Payment Collections

The travel Committee will be collecting payments for the Alaska and June 11 – 13 Lancaster/Samson trips on Thursday, March 10 from 9:30 – 11 a.m.
They will be collecting the second payment for the June 23 Pittsburgh Pirate baseball trip on Friday, March 11 from 9:30 – 11 a.m. If these times are not convenient for you, please give us a call and other arrangements will be made.

Mountain Top Outpost

The Mountain Top Outpost of the Tucker County Senior Center will host their March event on Tuesday, March 15. Let’s hope for the weather to cooperate, as we will be celebrating the coming of spring, Saint Patrick’s Day and Easter all on the same day.
Be sure to wear some green in memory of St. Patrick, and bring your Easter bonnet for the Easter Parade, also, don’t forget your covered dish to make the day extra special.

Appalachian Community Health Community Engagement Specialist Scheduled at Senior Center

A Community Engagement Specialist from Appalachian Community Health is scheduled to be at the Parsons Center the first Wednesday of each month and at the Mt. Top Center on the third Wednesday of each month. The hours at both centers are from 12:30 – 3:30 p.m. For information about the service, please call 304-636-3232.
