Parsons Center to Host St. Patrick’s Day Celebration and Hold March Birthday Party

Plan to be with us and wear your spring green as we celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at the parsons Center on Thursday, March 17. Plan to come early, as the Goldenaires Choir will begin their singing at 10:30 a.m. Later in the program we will hold our tribute to St. Patrick, welcoming the coming of spring, and give special recognition to all participants celebrating birthdays in March. All participants will share homemade cake compliments of Hospice Care. Corp.

Paper Products Bingo Events Scheduled

Weather permitting, the volunteer who hosts Paper Products Bingo events is scheduled to be at the Mt. Top Center on Thursday, March 17 following lunch. We ask that if you plan to attend the event, that you let us know the day before so that we will know if there are enough participants to hold the event.
A paper products bingo is scheduled the following day, Friday, March 18 at the Parsons Center, and it too will be held following lunch.

Flanagan Hill Outpost

A sure sign that spring is on the way is the resuming of the monthly Flanagan Hill covered dish outposts. The first event of 2016 is scheduled for Wednesday, March 23 at noon. Plan to make this event extra special by preparing your delicious covered dish to share with your friends and enjoy the fellowship always found at the Flanagan Hill Outpost.

One-Day Trip

The Travel Committee is taking names of interested people for a one-day early summer trip to the Ligonier Pa. area for a special Red, White & Blue Salute patriotic show at the Ramada Ligonier on Wednesday, June 15.
The cost of the trip will be about $95 per person and includes motor coach transportation, a great show including tributes to our military veterans and the Flight 93 Memorial. Also included in the package are a delicious luncheon and a visit to the Flight 93 Memorial and new visitors center, taxes and gratuities.
If you are interested, stop by or call the senior center at 304-478-2423 to place your name on the list. Once the final plans are made, those on the list will heave first choice in the order that the names were placed.
