PITTSBURGH PIRATE BASEBALL GAME
We are setting up a trip to Pittsburgh to see the Pirates play the Chicago Cubs on August 1, 2018. This will be an overnight trip. The price will be $250.00 per person based on double occupancy. If you are interested, please call the Parsons Center at 304-478-2423 immediately. If we don’t get more to sign up by March 14th we will cancel the trip.
MYRTLE BEACH TRIP
Our Myrtle Beach trip is scheduled for September 9th to 14th. The cost is $775 per person based on double occupancy. Please call the Parsons Center at 304-478-2423 to get your name on the list. We must have our list before March 14th or we will have to cancel this trip.
FREE LUNCH FRIDAY
Davis Medical Center will be providing a Free Lunch Friday on Friday, March 9th. They are going to have a pharmacist from Community Care Pharmacy to speak to us and answer questions about prescriptions. The speaker will begin at 11:00 a.m. Please come early so you can get some information.
DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME BEGINS
Just a reminder that Daylight Savings time begins on Sunday, March 11th. Remember to set your clocks ahead 1 hour on Saturday night.
MT. TOP CELEBRATIONS
The Mt. Top Center will be holding their monthly birthday celebration along with a St. Patrick’s Day celebration on Tuesday, March 13, 2018. We will honor those having March birthdays with a cake provided by WV Caring. The program will begin promptly at 10:45 a.m. so come join us for some fun and fellowship and to honor those born in March.
SWINGIN’ TO THE MUSIC
Due to lack of participants, today will be the last day for these dance sessions. We were hoping that the participation would pick up since the weather is better but that has not happened.
ORCHARD HALL EASTER DINNER
The folks at Orchard Hall in Elkins will again be holding their annual free Easter dinner on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. There is a sign-up sheet at the Parsons Center. Please let us know if you are going even if you are providing your own transportation because we need to call them with a number that will be attending from Tucker County. We need to know before March 23rd. If you plan to ride the Senior van, the charge is $3.00.
