POSSIBLE TRIP TO GRACELAND
We are trying to get a trip to Graceland set up. We have had several requests for this trip. We are looking at September 9th to 14th. We really need to know if there are enough people interested in this trip before we go any further with the plans. If you are interested in this trip, please call the Parsons Center at 304-478-2423 immediately to get on the list. If we have enough on the list we will continue working on it. After we complete the details we will call and see if you are still interested in going with us. We must know by April 20th because that is when the deposit for the bus is due. We don’t want to send any money if we don’t have people interested in the trip.
ONE DAY TRIPS
We are planning 2 different 1 day trips to Ligonier, PA. The first one is “I Love Lucy” murder mystery comedy. That will be August 2nd. The price is $100 which includes a home-style buffet, motor coach, gratuities, entertainment, and a Lucy art activity.
The second one is October 8th and costs $120. It is called “Sweet Country Roads” This includes the motor coach, gratuities, a western BBQ buffet, a toe tapping, knee slapping “Country Gold” music show with music by Johnny Cash, Kenny Rogers, Loretta Lynn, Dolly Parson, and more, and visits to a grist mill and a maple farm.
Please call 304-478-2423 to get your name and phone number on the list. We will call you with more details after we have a workable list.
MT. TOP BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION & GAME DAY
We will be having our monthly birthday celebration at the Mt. Top Center on Tuesday, April 10th. Please come and join us as we honor people with April birthdays with a cake provided by WV Caring. If you come early (about 10:30 a.m.) we will have some interesting games for you to play. These include corn hole, ladder ball, and table top games. This is an opportunity for you to get out of the house and have some fun and fellowship.
SUGGESTIONS
We are trying to get more participation at both of our Senior Centers. We would like to have suggestions for programs and activities that you might be interested in. Please write down your suggestions and put them in the suggestion box or give them to one of the employees. We can’t promise that we will do all that is suggested but we want you to have input for our activities.
