We have reserved seats at the Gandy Dancer Theater in Elkins for December 19, 2019 for the Christmas show. The doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the dinner begins at 6:00 p.m. followed by the show at 7:00 p.m. The price is $33 if you provide your own transportation and $38 if you want to ride the van. Please get your name on the list by October 31st so we can give them the number of seats we will need. We will collect the whole payment on Thursday, November 7th from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. If this is not convenient, please call 304-478-2423 to make other arrangements.
We can still take deposits for our cruise to the Southern Caribbean February 6 – 18, 2021. The deposit is $100 and needs to be paid as soon as possible to hold the cabin. We only have so long before the tour company has to turn the cabins back over to the cruise line and then if you can get a cabin, the price may go up. We’ve had several questions. We want to let you know that this will be a bus trip to Baltimore, MD to get on the ship. There is NO air flight involved. MEDICARE OPEN ENROLLMENT COMING SOON
The open enrollment period for Medicare is October 15th to December 7th. It’s not too early to contact our SHIP ladies at 304-636-4747 to arrange an appointment to discuss your wants/needs. The ladies will be in Tucker County every Thursday during the open enrollment period. They cannot take walk-ins: you must call for an appointment.
DEMENTIA WORKSHOP
Someone from Colonial Place will be at the Parsons Center on Friday, October 25th from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. They will be discussing the signs of the onset of dementia, how to deal with someone with dementia, and answer any questions you may have.
MT TOP HALLOWEEN CELEBRATION
The Halloween celebration at Mt. Top Center will be on Tuesday, October 29th after lunch. Please join us for lunch then participate in the costume judging. This will be a great time of fun and fellowship.
PARSONS HALLOWEEN CELEBRATION
The Parsons Center will have their Halloween celebration on Thursday, October 31st after lunch. Please bring your favorite Halloween costume. We will allow time for you to put it on before we begin the parade. Join us for lunch then stay for the fun and fellowship.
