WDDVA Representative will assist Clients at Parsons Center

 

Assistance is available to veterans and or their family members who may need help with veteran’s benefits. The representative meets with clients on the bottom level o the Parsons Senior Center in the former office of the Tucker County Health Department. The usual hours are from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

 

June Parsons Outpost

 

The Parsons Outpost of the Tucker County Senior citizens will host their June meeting and covered dish lunch on Tuesday, June 2 with the program beginning at 10:30 a.m. Plan to bring your covered dish to the event to share with your friends and enjoy the fellowship.

 

Final Knitting and Crochet Sessions for Spring and Summer

 

Lois Miller is planning to host three more knitting and crocket sessions in the month of June, take a summer break, and reconvene the sessions in the fall. If you are either experienced or new to the craft, and are interested, we invite you to join Lois any of the first three Mondays of June following lunch at the Parsons Senior Center.

 

Morning Coffee Breaks at the Mt. Top Center

 

Once again, we remind you that if you are in the area of the Mt. Top Senior Center and would like a cup of coffee, the center offers coffee each morning from 8:30 a.m. – lunch. We hope to see you are perhaps a friend.

 

Christmas Trip, Miracle of Christmas Update

 

We are in the process of calling interested persons concerning the November trip to the Sights and Sounds Theater “Miracle of Christmas” and the Pennsylvania Opry. We will call in the order that the names were placed on the list. Those wanting to go will be asked to pay a non-refundable deposit of $25 to reserve their reservations. We will keep going through the list until the trip is filled.
