ONE-DAY TRIP
We still are taking names and need more participants to make a one-day trip to the Ligonier P A area for a patriotic music show and visit to the Flight 93 Memorial feasible.
The trip is $95.00 per person and includes transportation on a chartered motor coach, admission to the show at the Ramada Inn, luncheon, visit to the new Flight 93 Memorial Visitors Center and gratuities. If you need more information or would like to sign up for the trip please stop by or call the senior center as soon as possible as we have a very limited time to keep our reservations for the show and motor coach.
NOVEMBER 14 – 18 TRIP TO DOLLYWOOD AND PIGEON FORGE
The Travel Committee will be collecting the first payment on the November 14 – 18 trip to Dollywood and Pigeon Forge on Friday, April 8 from 9:30 – 11:00 am
MT. TOP CENTER APRIL BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION
Participants at the Mt. Top Senior Center celebrating birthdays in April will be given special recognition on Tuesday, April 12 in conjunction with lunch. Happy birthday wishes will be sung to the honored guests and a home made cake provided by Hospice care Corp. will be served to all in attendance.
2016 SENIOR OLYMPICS
The 2016 Senior Olympics sponsored by the Aging and Family Services of Mineral County are scheduled for June ih – 10 at the Potomac State College at Keyser, W V. We are planning to hold an information meeting for the event to pass out schedules and applications, and discuss lodging options, on Thursday, April 14 at the Parsons Senior Center following lunch. If you cannot make it to the meeting and need information, please stop by or call the senior center and we will get it to you.
